Who am I?
I am Melike SEVİNÇ, I was born in Bursa in 1992.
The village where I live and grow up has a deep-rooted history of 600 years. I was born from the historical heritage of Kazıklı village, which takes its name from the stakes driven in to tie the rare horses of the Ottoman sultans and where they were kept, and Ağaköy, which served the Ottoman dynasty for centuries.
I think that being in touch with nature and observing creative elements while grazing my family's lambs in the pastures at a young age contributed to the formation of my artistic thought and consciousness. My body stepping on the soil and feeling nature allowed me to perceive the details of the colors in nature, and these experiences became the source of inspiration for my works.
My passion for art started with photography at a young age. I completed the Press, Broadcasting and Radio Television departments at university.
By founding a large technology company in the field of e-commerce with my wife, we were able to get rid of financial constraints and make time for our creativity.
We achieved our financial freedom by making a successful EXIT in our investment.
In order to develop my works, I received training from two great masters and became interested in contemporary art. During this process, I began to produce works as an artist integrated with the modern world.
I make every piece of art I produce with my own hands, and I work with a deep understanding of the chemical properties of the raw materials and dyes I use in each piece.
By continuing my artistic journey, I aim to leave a permanent mark on the world with the works I produce.
My Dear Art Lover,
I sincerely hope that the art piece I have created especially for you brings you luck and joy.
I am Melike SEVİNÇ, and I would like to tell you a little about myself and my philosophy of art.
I meticulously produce every single one of my works with my own hands. I believe that a true artist cannot truly breathe a soul into a piece without pouring their own sweat, passion, and fully immersing themselves in the challenges and joys of the creative process. This is why mastering every stage—technical, chemical, engineering—is indispensable to me.
In our increasingly digital world, I feel that a life without creation distances humanity from artistic emotion and fulfillment. My artistic approach is to keep contemporary art alive within daily life, uniting it with abstract and iconic forms, and sustaining it through my personal interpretations.
My artistic journey began with my quest for freedom and the realization of my dreams. I started by mastering a special process capable of creating a new movement: coating a desired surface with authentic liquefied silver to achieve high brilliance, a mirror effect, and profound depth. I trained under some of the world's first masters who developed this technique. I later merged this process with new-generation technology and possibilities, forming my own unique technique and advancing the existing method. Today, I take great pride in being one of the few who use authentic liquefied silver in art to create the magnificent brilliance and splendor you see in my works.

The story behind my Cosmo series is also very special. I discovered during my career that a Russian artist had created the initial versions that inspired these paintings back in 1992, the year I was born. This revelation left a profound mark on me. While these themes had been interpreted by many artists before, I was the first to unite Cosmos with precious metals. This fusion propelled my art into a new dimension, becoming a tangible expression of progress and reinterpretation, allowing me to achieve a deeper and more impactful visual experience.
I have also broadened my horizons by participating in numerous art workshops across Europe. These experiences have enriched both my practice and my theoretical knowledge.
Being the world's first creator of the idea to coat curvaceous Cosmos with precious metals is a tremendous source of pride for me. As a pioneer of this concept, I was featured in a joint publication in VOGUE magazine alongside world-renowned brands like SAINT LAURENT, BULGARI, and CHRISTIAN DIOR.
A true art piece derives its value from its rarity and uniqueness. This is why I never use molds or serial production. Each piece is brought to life entirely through my handiwork and original design. A serially produced item may be aesthetic, but it can never be rare. This is why my works remain valuable, rare, and authentic—thanks to the craftsmanship imbued in every piece.
The creative power of art nourishes both the visual and spiritual world of the artist. I often think this creative process is akin to a doctor touching a human life. In my view, art is divine. As humanity drifts further from art and faith, the world evolves into a more soulless, amorphous, and mass-produced state. Yet, thousands of years of human history are deeply intertwined with art. The exquisite jewelry found in ancient tombs, the splendour of the Renaissance, the magnificent Medicis, the elegance of the Ottomans… all are testament to the fact that humans can never truly abandon art.
Is it not deeply moving that a businessperson asked me to sculpt the balloons their child had blown up? That sculpture is now transformed by their breath into a signature of eternity. This is how my perfect balloon series came to be.
Personalized stories like these thrill me. My works cannot be acquired by monetary value alone. You must feel them, appreciate them, and find something of yourself within them. I do not give my pieces to anyone who cannot feel their aesthetic and emotional resonance.
Within my personalized art approach, I shape the colours and dimensions according to your preferences. Thus, the resulting piece comes to life as a shared intellectual creation between us. Years from now, the traces we leave in history will be of a quality that makes people say, "So, this is what people found joy in."
Having the privilege to create a unique artwork for you—one of which there will only ever be one single version in the entire world, whose colours and dimensions you have helped decide—is an unparalleled joy for me.
I dedicate only three days a week to producing my artworks. Some ask me why I don’t produce more to earn more. But we must remember that the only thing we cannot get back is time. While leaving my mark on the world through art is paramount to me, living this one life we are given with joy is equally precious. Three days a week is sufficient for this purpose; the remaining days are reserved for spending time with loved ones, exploring the world, and drawing inspiration and pleasure from life itself.
So, this is my story: the journey of a girl from her village, contributing to the world of art…
Innovations, excitements, and discoveries will never cease.
Art may have no pinnacle, but being able to leave a mark, however small, at its turning points, to contribute to this ancient, millennia-long human journey—that is what truly matters.
I wonder what else life has in store for us…
From the heart, I extend my deepest gratitude to you, my art lover, who values my work, cherishes it, and signs history alongside me.
